Limousine Barcelona: limo hire companies and what to ask

A limousine in Barcelona can mean very different things: a stretch car for a wedding, a party vehicle for a birthday, or an executive saloon with a driver for the airport. This guide helps you work out which one you need, how to read the company lists above and what to confirm before you pay a deposit.

By town, Barcelona has 17, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat 6 and Sant Boi de Llobregat 2, with single companies in Rubí, Cerdanyola del Vallès, Premià de Mar, El Prat de Llobregat, Badalona, Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Sabadell. None of the 32 states a fleet size on its website and 2 mention PMR-adapted vehicles, so ask about access before you book.

Ratings are strong in this category, but many companies have few reviews. A 5-star score from one review says little, while 4.8 over several hundred is a clearer signal. We therefore show both numbers and rank by them, as explained on how we rank.

Hours: what Google shows

Several limousine companies list long opening hours. In our top 25, a number show "open 24 hours" for every day, including Royal Falcon Limo, Limo Lux Bcn, Relier Spain and Barcelona in Motion. Others close on Sundays or at weekends, such as Limusina Barcelona (closed on weekends) and Servicios Hummer (closed on Sundays). Opening hours on Google describe when the office answers, not always when vehicles run, so for a late-night return confirm the exact time in writing.

Can I get a limousine at the airport?

Yes, and many limo companies do airport work. For ride-hailing and VTC (private hire with driver) cars, Aena's page on vehicles for hire lists a VTC meeting point at the T1 car park, floor -1, and separate stops for Uber, Cabify and Bolt at each terminal. A limousine firm may use its own arrangement, so ask. If you compare with a taxi, the 2026 taxi tariffs from the Institut Metropolità del Taxi show a regulated structure: a 2.80 euro flag fall, an airport supplement of 4.60 euro and a minimum fare of 21.00 euro from the airport. Limousine prices are set by each company and are not covered by that tariff.

How far ahead should you book?

We cannot give a lead time that applies to every company, because each one manages its own diary. As a practical rule, ask early for any Saturday, for wedding season and for dates around public holidays, since limousines and party vehicles are limited in number at each firm. Send your request as soon as the date is fixed, and tell the company if the date can move by a day, since that can widen the choice.

When several companies answer, compare them like for like. Put the quotes in one table with the vehicle model, the seat count, the hours included, the deposit and the cancellation rule. A cheaper quote that covers fewer hours or leaves out waiting time is not cheaper. If one company is vague about the vehicle, ask for a photo of the exact car and its registration plate before you pay anything.

Finally, think about the return. Many people plan the outbound ride and forget the way back at the end of a wedding or a night out. Agree the return pick-up time and place in the same booking, and ask what the company does if the party runs late.

3. What is included: drinks, decoration, waiting time, tolls, parking?
4. How much is the deposit, and what is the cancellation policy?
5. Who is the operator, and can you share the company name and address?
6. What happens if the vehicle breaks down?

Red flags

• Photos that do not show the vehicle you will receive.
• A price that stays the same whatever the hours or the date.
• A deposit asked by transfer to a personal account.
• No written confirmation of the date, time and pick-up point.
• No named company on the quote.
